Vanguard 656
The architects from Studio OOOOX, already familiar with the Vanguard residential complex, were engaged to design a loft apartment in this project, particularly after creating the first model unit. Apartment No. 656 is located in the northwest corner of the building, and due to this orientation, the interior was designed in light shades.
This loft features a unique design with the “construction block” as the central element. This module is clad in brushed and lacquered veneer, giving it an intriguing texture. The block incorporates various functional elements, including a kitchen, storage areas, and a utility closet.
The upper level provides space for two mattresses, likely serving as a bedroom, along with additional storage. The lower level houses a kitchen with a stone backsplash and countertop. An interesting detail is the upper cabinets made from plexiglass, framed with expanded metal, giving the space an industrial look.
The block also includes a toilet, with steel stairs leading to the upper level. These stairs were designed not only as an access element but also serve as storage and were assembled using a LEGO-like construction principle, adding a playful yet functional feature to the space.
This description highlights the emphasis on multifunctionality and creative use of space, characteristic of loft living.
